Google Rescues Alcoholic Workaholics From Sending Late Night Emails

It happens to all of us.  You had a bad week at work with your boss or another colleague. To forget all those and enjoy the weekend, you spend time drinking geat beer, cocktails or tequila shots! 🙂

You are back at home around 3AM in the morning and you still have not left the so called bad behaviour from a colleague. When you had a very bad week at work, and remember you had many drinks, and what if you begin to send an email to your boss or senior management?

You are lucky if your organization is using gmail or Google hosted email. Google labs now provides Mail Goggles under the Labs tab in Gmail Settings.

Mail Goggles will check that you’re really sure you want to send that late night email. It makes you solve a few simple math problems after you click send to verify you’re in the right state of mind. 🙂

By default, Mail Goggles is only active late night on the weekend as that is the time you’re most likely to need it. Once enabled, you can adjust when it’s active in the General settings.
