Witstream is a web and iPhone app that follows most of the funny people, comedians, professional writers, etc, on Twitter and shows you their latest tweets. It is your 24-hour live comedy ticker. An endless flow of up-to-the-minute comedy and commentary delivered to you in real time: what’s funny about what’s happening. The service displays all the funny stuff gathered in one place. You can up vote any tweet you like so that it can come up in the main spotlight section and help the service display the funniest tweets.
The website has four parts – Spotlight, Live Feed, The Black List and Tweet the Press. The funnier ones are present in the Black List and Spotlight (featured) tabs. Tweet the Press is more regarding the current happening events in the world.
The word “aristocrats” is a word that simply describes WitStream’s handpicked contributors. You can even vote a tweet funny or not which probably helps the website display only the funniest of all.
