Web Security companies has warned internet users to beware of spam mails on Michael Jackson, offering unpublishede videos, pictures and mysteries, downloads a trojan in the computer.
Spam e-mails offering recipients links to unpublished videos and pictures of Michael Jackson is now being spread. These spam emails, discovered by Websense, contains link which is not to a YouTube clip, instead leads to password-stealing malware that installs on the victim’s computer. This malicious file is located on a legitimate website hosted in Australia belonging to a radio broadcasting station. The file offered is called Michael.Jackson.videos.scr.
The scammers were also using “black hat” search engine optimisation techniques to push their malicious websites close to the top of search results. [source]
