Uninor introduced two Special Tariff Vouchers (STV), providing talk value of 10,000 minutes on a recharge of Rs 199 and 1000 minutes on a recharge of Rs 32, with a valid period of 30 days. This is less than 2 paisa per minutes effectively. Both STVs include local Uninor to Uninor calling benefits. This offer is valid on STV recharges only of above mentioned denominations irrespective of whether it is a first recharge, second, or so on. [via]

Pay-Per-Call Prepaid Plan of Tata Indicom and Tata Teleservices
Tata Teleservices introduced a new tariff plan “Pay-Per-Call” for pre-paid CDMA subscribers. The calls will be charged Re 1 for all local calls and Rs 3 for long distance calls, regardless of the duration. Tata Indicom and Teleservices subscribers would be able to avail of the plan by paying a daily fee of Re 1 or Rs 30 monthly and call rates would also apply on mobile to landline and to calls made to other networks.
