Samsung Electronics will use Intel processor to power its top-tier version of tablet – The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. The company unveiled two new tablets – Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and 10.1-inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1″ tablet will be powered by Intel 1.6-GHz dual core processor, probably Intel’s Clover Trail+ mobile chip. It will support 1GB RAM. It’s WXGA TFT display will have a screen resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. The screen resolution and the RAM are sub par comparing to other high-performing tablets!
The 10.1″ tablet will have the options of 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot supporting upto 64GB. It supports 3G and 4G networks. It will have a 3 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera. It comes with a 6800 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch tablet will pack 1.5 GHz dual-core processor with WXGA TFT display of 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It will support 1.5GB RAM and have a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera.
Both the tablets run on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 and will come in Wi-Fi only, 3G and LTE variants. The new products are expected to be available globally this month, price details are not available at this moment.
