Samsung Brings First Ice Cream Sandwich Phone ‘Google Nexus Prime’?

Android LogoGoogle and Samsung teams up to bring the Android 4.0 phone. Samsung will be the manufacturer to create the first smartphone based on the upcoming flavor of Google’s Android platform, Ice Cream Sandwich, BGR reports.

The current codename is “Prime”, and source believes it’s possible that the phone could launch as the “Google Nexus Prime”. This upcoming superphone may not have any carrier preloads or OEM customizations.

BGR also claims that this will be the first device to sport a 720p, Super AMOLED HD display, manufactured by Samsung. The processor in the upcoming device will be an OMAP4460.
