MTNL Mumbai has Missed Call Alert service for Dolphin & Trump mobile users. Many calls are missed due to network problems, out of reach situations, or a user’s phone being switched off. MCA is a service which enables user to get particulars about such missed calls which include details like who has called and when, and receives all the information needed to return the call. In order to avail this service the settings for call divert to the number +919869099999 is to be made from the mobile handset.
MCA service has two models:
A. Subscription model: Tariff- Rs.15/month
1. To subscribe user has to send SMS ’ Sub MCA’ to 50101.
2. Divert calls in required condition to +919869099999.
3. In case of missed calls the user will get alerts” You have X missed calls from MSISDN1, Y missed calls from MSISDN2…..”
4. On 28th and 30th day of subscription, user will get reminder message about auto renewal of service and information about keyword to unsubscribe.
B. Non-Subscription model: Tariff- Re.1/SMS to 50101
1.[advt] User has to divert calls in required condition to +919869099999.
2. In case of missed calls, user will get an alert from 50101 that “You have X missed calls. To know the details please send GET to 50101”.
3. In order to get details user has to send SMS “GET” to 50101. In response he shall get a response “You have x missed call from MSISDN1, y missed calls from MSISDN2.”
4. All SMS to 50101 will be charged at Re.1/SMS.
