Microsoft Kinect is the Fastest Selling Electronic Device

Microsoft’s Kinect has out-grown Apple iPhone and iPad and became the fastest selling consumer electronics device of all time.

Kinect motion-sensing game device for the Xbox console, which costs around 130 pounds. The Kinect uses a camera connected the console to track the movement of the players.

Kiect has set a new Guinness World Record after selling 10 million units worldwide since the Kinect went on sale four months ago.

It was developed in response to Ninentndo’s Wii and in order for Microsoft to capture a larger share of the massive casual gaming market created by the Wii. [source]
