LG LSM-100 Scanner Mouse – Scans and Converts Scanned Text to Editable Format

LG has released a new mouse called LSM-100, which functions not only as a mouse but acts as a fully functioning scanner capable of recognizing characters. The laser mouse has two buttons, a wheel and a Smart Scan button on the left side of the mouse. Hold it and the mouse can scan page sizes up to A3 and save them as several file types: PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PDF and XLS.

Since the LSM-100 is equipped with LG’s Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, it can also convert scanned text into an editable Microsoft Word document.
