Lenovo IdeaTab A1000 is available online for purchase now, which was announced earlier this year. This voice calling tablet is priced at Rs 8,990 in India.
The device runs on Android™ 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a MediaTek MT8317 Dual-Core Processor with 1.2 GHz clock speed. The device has a 1GB LP-DDR2 RAM and internal storage of 16GB (eMMC), which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD.
It features a 7″ TN Multi-touch capacitive display with 70% color gamut (NTSC) and a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. There’s a 0.3M Front Camera for video-calling.
The device has WiFi WLAN 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth® 4.0 for connectivity. Accelerometer (G-sensor) and Vibration sensors available are also available. The device homes 3.5 mm Audio/Mic Jack, Micro-USB (supports USB-OTG) and Micro-SD card slot/port(s).
It has a 3500 mAh Li-Polymer battery which supports 8 hrs WiFi Browsing, 6hrs video playback and a standby time of minimum 2 weeks. IdeaTab A1000 comes in two variants viz Black and White.
