KYTE – Know Your TEam

As a Project Manager in the IT industry, owning a cohesive team is very important for getting the work done within the schedule and cost. The first important step to gel together the team is to know each other better.

In the CSP (Communication Service Provider) business unit at Infosys Thiruvananthapuram (where I belong to), the cultural committee has recently started a periodic email series to introduce each person to the team. The committee sent a questionnaire to me and I have posted a copy of the questions and answers below.

In my earlier projects, I have introduced a similar initiative Know Your TEam (KYTE) as a weekly email series and published in the project website too.

A Malayali by birth, culture and spirit. Born and brought up in Thiruvananthapuram district. Pre-degree from Mar Ivanios College and B Tech (Comp Sci) from CET (College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram). Youngest to 7 sisters and 1 brother! I got into Infosys through campus selection process. I selected to join Infosys as it is “Powered by Intellect and Driven by Values” and lead by Narayana Murthy.

How I Define My Work

My work is to manage myself to come out without major damage from the Padmavyuha made of Infosys management, clients, team members, source code, defects, issues, deadlines, milestones, etc..!
