ClamWin AntiVirus is a free, antivirus software tool-kit capable of detecting many types of malicious software, including viruses. One of its main uses is on mail servers as a server-side email virus scanner. ClamWin is the updated version of Calm antivirus. Calm AV was developed for Unix ,AIX, BSD, HP-UX, Linux, Mac OS X, OpenVMS, OSF and Solaris. As of version 0.96 ClamWinAV builds and runs on Microsoft Windows. Both ClamWin AV’s and Calm AV updates are made available free of charge.
