Ananthapuri.com’s 4th Anniversary

Happy Birthday to Ananthapuri.com!

Today (August 12, 2006) we celebrate the 4^th anniversary day of Ananthapuri.com! I registered the domain ananthapuri.com on 11^th August 2002 and the first page was online the very next day on the 12^th. The website was formally announced to the public on 15^th August 2002, on the Indian Independence Day. I was in New Jersey, USA those days and got good enough leisure time to work on the website and to do research and analysis for the website.

I just came back to Thiruvananthapuram from Bangalore. I got a great opportunity to meet the most admired Indian IT Acharya, Mr N R Narayana Murthy of Infosys Technologies Limited, at his residence. It’s so exciting! This is one of the most memorable days in my life. The happiness even out-weighs Ananthapuri.com’s birthday celebrations!

OK, now back to Ananthapuri.com story! On the way back home, we celebrated the birthday at a restaurant in Salem, Tamilnadu. Sorry, we did not have time to enjoy the champagne!
