Online recharge cum ticket booking firm Paytm announced the inclusion of their app in the Windows as well as Nokia Asha Touch phones. Paytm has over 6 million users and the company hopes that it can compete well in these platforms with the app.
Paytm helps users to recharge, pay the bills and to book bus tickets online. The company allows users to recharge their mobiles, data cards, DTH packs and toll cards.
As of now the toll card recharge is available in the Delhi Gurgaon region only.
Paytm currently supports the prepaid mobile recharge of service providers like Aircel, Airtel, BSNL, Idea, MTNL, MTS, Loop Mobile, Reliance (GSM + CDMA), S Tel, Tata Docomo (GSM + CDMA), Uninor, Videocon, Virgin (GSM + CDMA), Vodafone, Cheers and Ping.
Paytm supports the DTH recharge of service providers such as Tata Sky, Dish TV, Reliance Digital TV, Sun Direct, Videocon d2h and Airtel digital TV.
It also supports internet data card recharge of leading data cards such as MTS MBlaze and MBrowse, Reliance Netconnect+, Tata Docomo Photon Whiz and Photon Plus, MTNL and BSNL.
Users can also pay the postpaid mobile bills of providers like Airtel, BSNL, Idea, Loop Mobile, Reliance (GSM + CDMA), Tata Docomo (GSM + CDMA), Virgin (GSM + CDMA) and Vodafone through Paytm.
They can also pay the landline bills of Airtel through the app. The app will enable Electricity bill recharge of BSES Rajdhani [Delhi] sooner, the company says.
The app also provides the bus ticket booking facility, associated with the leading bus operators throughout the country. More details are available here.
