After a week of several free catchy applications launching, it is now time for some worthy paid applications. Tata communications launched a new Video Conferencing App named Jamvee which can be accessed by up to 46 users simultaneously on different devices such as laptop, desktop, tablet and smartphone.
The application will be a paid application for video conferencing over Tata’s network. The app runs on Windows, Mac and iOS. Jamvee for Android will come out by this August.
Tata Communications President and CTO John Hayduk says, ” Lack of interoperability, consistency of experience per location, complicated price plans and the need for third-party reservations have stood in the way of global enterprise collaboration. Jamvee overcomes these barriers.”
People who use Lync and other VC software can also join Jamvee. The users who want to start VC should access host and participant PINs and they shall send participant PINs to those users whom the host want to interact with. The participants shall press the “JOIN” button to join in the VC while using Jamvee.
KPIT Cummins’ IT head Mandar Marulkar says, ” Jamvee is an excellent tool to conduct productive and collaborative video meetings with clients who are based at multiple locations across continents. The ease of using video services on the move and on any device or platform, makes Jamvee highly preferred by global users. “
