Tata Teleservices introduced a new tariff plan “Pay-Per-Call” for pre-paid CDMA subscribers. The calls will be charged Re 1 for all local calls and Rs 3 for long distance calls, regardless of the duration.
Tata Indicom and Teleservices subscribers would be able to avail of the plan by paying a daily fee of Re 1 or Rs 30 monthly and call rates would also apply on mobile to landline and to calls made to other networks.
The plan also offers subsidised rate for SMS at 50 paise, for both local and national SMS.
“Pay-per-call will change the pricing paradigm in the telecom space and endless talks does not mean the caller will misuse the facility as there will be monitoring of the calling pattern of subscribes once any abuse of the scheme is noticed. Usually a caller talks for 4 to 5 minutes on a local call and three minutes on STD”, said Tata Teleservices managing director Anil Sardana. [source]

Dear
I dont think this is good plan. due to following
Advantages
1) Tata indicom is offering Rs.1 for Local and Rs.3 for STD calls for 10 minutes (Pluse 600 secs) in haryana region.
Disadvantages
1) Rs.30/- month is taking for this plan fees.
2) Roaming is not allowed on same rate.
3) The scheme is allowed for new customer only
4) The scheme is not only for lifetime this is only for 10 years.
5) if you will get average on monthly basis. I bet you have to pay more than Rs.0.70/- per call
for more details visit http://www.tataindicom.com/t-prepaid-mobile-phone.aspx
Compare plan with reliance
1) Reliance (CDMA as well as GSM) is offering all calls including local, std, roaming on any mobile or landline in Rs.0.50/- per minute in Rs.48 easy recharge for lifetime without any condition.
i got tis plan nd i’l explain u abt tis…
(i) buy a new cdma phone( u cant get tis plan in old mobile or used mobiles). so get a new cdma mobile, cheapest tata mobile rate is 1200rs.
(ii) then u have to pay 300rs for sim card nd for activating tis plan.
(iii) ur num wil b activated only after 4 days frm the date of buying, max they wil take one week.
(iv) then u hav to recharge ur num at the time of buying the sim, tis amount wil b added to ur account wen ur sim get activated.
(v) thats it
I buyed a 1200rs mobile + 300rs for sim card nd activation + 100rs for recharge. totally 1600rs is need to get tis plan.
this plan is useful only for lovers nd for the person who talks for more time.
