Smartphone maker XOLO had extended its competition by entering the Tablet market with a new Tab called XOLO Tab, priced Rs 13,499 in India. The platform uses Hexagon QDSP5 processor, which promises high performance, more battery life, faster UI response and better multimedia experience.
It has a big 8″ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 with 160 ppi pixel density. The tab runs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core processor, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8225Q chipset inside. The Graphics core used is Adreno 203.
The 3G video calling tab has a SIM card slot, one microSD card slot, 3.5 mm audio jack and micro USB at the hardware side. The device sports twin cameras, a 2MP one at the rear and a 0.3 Mp one at front. It also has Accelerometer sensor.
[advt]The tab has A-GPS and Standalone GPS for navigation and USB v2.0, Bluetooth v3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Hotspot & WLAN support for connectivity. It also has 4GB internal memory and 1 GB RAM.
The 4000 mAh Li-Po battery can supply charge for a standby time of up to 380 hours in 2G mode and up to 360 hours in 3G mode. It can also supply power up to 16 hours of talk time in 2G mode and up to 12 hours in 3G mode.
