XOLO had launched their latest Android model XOLO A500S in India at a price tag of Rs 6,999. The phone runs on an Android Jelly Bean OS, version 4.2 which is powered by a 1.2 GHz MT 6572W Dual Core processor. The Graphics engine used is Mali-400 MP.
The device homes a 4.0″ WVGA TFT display with 480×800 pixels screen resolution and 233 ppi pixel density. It has a 5 MP camera at the rear and a VGA one in front. The camera supports single LED flash and touch focus for the rear camera.
The main feature of this phone is XOLO Secure, the inbuilt anti-theft app, which protect the A500S from data loss or thefts. XOLO Secure backs up call logs, SMS and also tracks the phone’s location remotely.
The phone has a 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB. It features FM radio, Accelerometer sensor, Ambient Light sensor and Proximity sensor. The dual SIM phone has microUSB and 3.5 mm audio jack slots.
It has extended support to Assisted GPS for navigation. Also the phone supports USB 2.0, Bluetooth v 3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G. It has a 1400 mAh battery which supports up to 10 hours talk time in 2G and up to 8 hours talk time in 3G.
