Xiaomi, the Chinese mobile internet company, has opened it’s first warehouse in Bommasandra, near Bengaluru, ET reports. It is said that, Xiaomi will also launch Mi Store – Xiaomi’s eCommerce store – for Indian consumers this year, thus widening their market reach in India.
Xiaomi’s selected products are now readily available for sale in the online ecommerce websites such as Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal in India. They have started selling their smartphones through a few select retail outlets too.
Having a warehouse in India will help Xiaomi to widen their product portfolio. The 49-inch 4K televisions and Mi Note are expected to be launched soon in india. Their current portfolio includes Redmi 2, Redmi Note 4G, Mi 4 and Mi Pad.
Xiaomi is hosting a global event in New Delhi on April 23, 2015, where we think the Mi 4i will get launched.
