ExifToolGUI is a free, Flexible software tool for viewing/editing metadata inside image files. It is a frontend for ExifTool and can view/edit most metadata information in images, which includes camera/device used, settings used on the device, and even location the picture was taken if the camera has GPS capability.
Supporting more than just EXIF, IPTC and XMP tags are also usable, and the program has batch capability and can export/import all the tags. There are many tools for viewing/editing metadata inside image files.

ExifTool is “CommandLine” utility, there’s no Graphic User Interface (GUI), so all work must be done by typing commands inside “Command Prompt” window.
Making ExifToolGUI, the main goal was:
- View all metadata that ExifTool recognizes,
- Ability to edit most frequently used Exif, IPTC and XMP metadata tags,
- Batch capability (where appropriate), means: you can select multiple files and modify them at once
