USBLogView is a small utility that runs in the background and records the details of any USB device that is plugged or unplugged into your system. For each action it logs the time, device name and type, serial number and various other details that are available for the device. The log can optionally be saved as HTML report or copied to the clipboard.
Every time when you plugged /unplugged USB device a new log line will be created and displayed on program window. You can select put icon on tray from options to conveniently close the program window without exiting so that recording of USB devices information will continue.
Every log line records the following information:
- Event Type (Plug/Unplug)
- Event Time
- Device Name
- Description
- Device Type
- Drive Letter / Serial Number
- Vendor ID
- Product ID
- Vendor Name
- Product Name
