With the rolled out in Andhra Pradesh on the 16th July 2009, Tata Docomo now completely covers South India, and Country-wide service rollout is expected by end of this year.
Along with this roll out, Tata Docomo launched an interactive GPRS application, Tata i-Channel. This is one of the first products of the Japan-based NTT Docomo to be introduced in India. This service lets you check the latest news and useful daily information, easily and conveniently.
The latest news is shown on the standby screen. Press the i-channel button on the compatible mobile phone to easily check the latest news, weather, movies, stocks, and other information useful in daily life. You just need to click a button to immediately view information, with pictures included.

i-channel supports about 74 Nokia devices available on both S40 and S60 GPRS enabled devices, to download i-channel application one need to point the mobile browser to Tata Docomo Drive in wap portal and download the application.
