Tata Teleservices introduced a new tariff plan “Pay-Per-Call” for pre-paid CDMA subscribers. The calls will be charged Re 1 for all local calls and Rs 3 for long distance calls, regardless of the duration.
Tata Indicom and Teleservices subscribers would be able to avail of the plan by paying a daily fee of Re 1 or Rs 30 monthly and call rates would also apply on mobile to landline and to calls made to other networks.
The plan also offers subsidised rate for SMS at 50 paise, for both local and national SMS.
“Pay-per-call will change the pricing paradigm in the telecom space and endless talks does not mean the caller will misuse the facility as there will be monitoring of the calling pattern of subscribes once any abuse of the scheme is noticed. Usually a caller talks for 4 to 5 minutes on a local call and three minutes on STD”, said Tata Teleservices managing director Anil Sardana. [source]
Today in morning i recharged my tata calls for 100 Rs, wich showed nearly 89rs or so. without making any calls or doing sms’s the balance showed almost 75 rs deducted, what to say m in jinx when dont know usage of my phone calls.

hey neha,
re.1 for for local call has a time limit of 10 minutes. and the std is for 5 minutes. this offer is all over india. no need of taking this plan. this plan really sucks. the ad and the offer has no relation. they are telling unlimited and there is a limit. from this itself we can realize that they are frauds.

pleae tell me about this offer?is this offer in Hyderabad?
Hello everybody! I am using a vodafone service from the past 5 years and I mostly make long duration calls. For that I use a power recharge card costing 17 Rs. Once recharged, it will cost 20 paise per minute for a single number that you have registered.
I recently came to know about the new tata indicom service of pay per call. At first it sounds good that you can talk for unlimited minutes with a single rupee. I thought that this offer will surely benefit peoples like me specially who make long duration calls. But after learning more about the offer I found out that this is just a way of fooling us.
First of all we have to make a monthly recharge of 30 Rs and still it is not as it claims that “pay 1 rupee regardless of how much long you talk”. We can only talk for 10 minutes with a rupee (Though I have not used this sim and the information is all that I have heard and read.)
Its for you to decide and think properly before going for this new offer.
Please refer to Ankit Jain above for further details.

Dear
I dont think this is good plan. due to following
Advantages
1) Tata indicom is offering Rs.1 for Local and Rs.3 for STD calls for 10 minutes (Pluse 600 secs) in haryana region.
Disadvantages
1) Rs.30/- month is taking for this plan fees.
2) Roaming is not allowed on same rate.
3) The scheme is allowed for new customer only
4) The scheme is not only for lifetime this is only for 10 years.
5) if you will get average on monthly basis. I bet you have to pay more than Rs.0.70/- per call
for more details visit http://www.tataindicom.com/t-prepaid-mobile-phone.aspx
Compare plan with reliance
1) Reliance (CDMA as well as GSM) is offering all calls including local, std, roaming on any mobile or landline in Rs.0.50/- per minute in Rs.48 easy recharge for lifetime without any condition.
shud we buy the mobile of the same company- Tata indicom or can we use the sim card in other mobiles also?
Is the call rate for a call which i speak to around 15-20 mins(Local) also the same (Re 1)?
Is the service presently available in Bangalore if so whom should we contact for the service?
