MTS has launched its first Android smartphone MTS Pulse in India. MTS Pulse is a rebranded HTC Hero.
MTS is selling this phone for free on a one year agreement with INR 1500 postpaid plan. The plan comes with 1500 minutes, 1500 SMSs & 1500 MB data usage every month for 12 months. You can also buy the phone without any plan for INR 18,000.
Customers doe not need to make any upfront payments. MTS Pulse comes with Android 2.1 (Eclair).
