Airtel is on top when it comes to receiving customer complaints regarding billing and service related issues with 3,571 complaints filed since 2008-09, the Lok Sabha was informed.
Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has been receiving complaints against all the leading Mobile Service Providers alleging various problems which include billing, metering & tariff related issues and activation of chargeable value added services without explicit consent of the customer.
Vodafone received 1,896 complaints. Tata Docomo and Idea Cellular customers seemed to be the least dissatisfied, with 1,239 and 925 complaints, respectively, lodged against them. [source]
