Google’s Free Online Website Analytics Tool

In an effort to offer improved access to the Internet, Google plans to create fast, cheap and ubiquitous fiber-to-the-home Internet broadband networks with one-gigabit-per-second (1Gbps) speed. The broadband connections will be as much as 100 times faster than most cable and DSL services. Google hopes to offer the service to at least 50,000 people and as many as 500,000. It will announce which communities will get the service later this year. It has been reported that, Google is phasing out the internal use of Microsoft Windows OS because of security concerns, after Google’s Chinese operations were hacked in January. It is possible that Google’s alleged plan to dump Windows for internal use, may be a sneaky PR stunt to trumpet the security strengths of Google Chrome OS which is expected to be released by late this year. According to Google Mobile Blog, Google has recently came up with the concept of a mobile lab, which is a device that combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android to experiment with new mobile features and capabilities, and Google shared this device with Google employees across the globe to test out the new technology and help improve it. The Google Phone is called the Nexus One and is being manufactured for Google by HTC Corp.
