Google SMS to Send Free Text Messages to Cell Phones in the USA

Google’s Send To Phone provides free service to send SMS (text messages) to cell phones in the United States of America. It supports the following wireless careers in the USA.

Only 95 character are allowed per message, without subject line. If you type in more characters, the message is divided and send as separate text messages.

  3. According to a press release from SoftBank Mobile, the Japanese service provider has secured an agreement with Apple to bring the iPhone to Japan this year. The deal will ensure the iPhone’s first official access in Japan’s market.

  4. See comments by jonas. Nothing is free. text-one-free insists on seeing minimum two advertisements, then one sms per day (for two ad-clicks) is allowed. Waste of time. India is not covered.

  5. Any such similar servics in India?

    There are some sites like Krify.com but they are not reliable.In many cases they dont send SMSs and if at all they send the lag is so much.
