Mozilla received the official Guinness World Record certificate for the largest number of software downloads in 24 hours; over 8 million downloads were recorded on the day of the launch (June 18, 2008) of the updated Firefox 3 browser.
The Firefox 3 browser is is claimed to be three times faster than Firefox 2. I have been using FF3 since its alpha release and I am very much impressed with it. I ditched Flock for the latest Firefox3! With the final release, most of the Extensions are also updated to work with it.
