Infosys announced results for the Quarter ended December 31, 2009. Q3 revenues sequentially grew by 6.8%. Revenues were $1,232 million and the Net Income after tax was $334 million. For the Quarter ending March 31, 2010, consolidated revenues are expected to be in the range of $1,240 million and $1,250 million; YoY growth of 10.6% to 11.5%. A new green phone concept for Nokia is being designed – uses bio-battery to replace the traditional battery to create a pollution-free environment. The bio-battery genrates electricity from carbohydrates and utilizes enzymes as the catalyst. By using bio battery as the power source of the phone, it only needs a pack of soft-drinks such as Coke or Pepsi and it generates water and oxygen while the battery dies out. The survey found that the willingness of IT employees to exert high levels of discretionary effort has gone down to its lowest levels.
