Beetel Teletech, an arm of Bharti Enterprises, is likely to launch a seven-inch tablet PC by next month. The product would have features such as two side camera, 3G and Android 2.2 operating system.
Refusing to indicate likely price of the tablet, Rahul Mahajan, Head of Mobile Business of Beetel Teletech, said,
“The prices of the tablets will be very competitive and offer value for money to the customers. The company would roll out more tablets in the subsequent months. It would also launch Android and touch phones next month. The company would also set up exclusive retail outlets besides building a distribution network across the country.”
The company, which sold 1.5 lakh mobiles a month, would come out with two models every month this financial year.
