You can register or update your registration through any of the following mediums:
Through Phone Banking
You can register for SMS Banking simply by calling on the Phone Banking number in your city.
To access Phone Banking services from anywhere in India, from a Landline or Cell phone please dial any of our following 3 Toll Free Phone Banking Numbers:

- NRI / other customers can access Phone Banking services from outside India by dialing +91 22 27648000 (This number is not toll free)
- For blocking of Debit / Pre-paid cards, you can also call our 24-hour Emergency Helpline Number +91 22 67987700 (This number is not toll free)
At the ATM
You can register or update registration of only the primary account linked to your debit card.
- [advt]Insert the card and enter PIN number
- Select the ‘Other Services’ menu item
- Select ‘SMS Banking Registration/Update’ menu item
- Enter the mobile number you want to register or update
- Re-enter the mobile number
- Take the receipt as acknowledgement of registration or update. The account number on which the registration or update has taken effect is printed on the receipt.
It will take 48 hours for the registration or update to take effect.
On the Axis Bank Internet Banking website (iConnectTM)
- Visit www.axisbank.com
- Log on to Internet Banking with your user ID and password (if you are not registered for iConnectTM, please contact your nearest branch to get your user ID and password).
- Click on ‘Customise’ and then on ‘SMS Banking’
- Enter your mobile number, check the ‘Enable for SMS Banking’ checkbox and submit to register yourself for SMS Banking.
It will take 48 hours for the registration, update or de-registration to take effect.
At the Branch
Kindly submit your request for SMS Banking in writing at any branch near you.[source]
