T-Mobile USA Inc. announced the release of the G2. The G2 will be the first Android smartphone designed to deliver 4G speeds on T-Mobile’s new network. T-Mobile USA G2 is was designed for the T-Mobile HSPA+ mobile broadband network. The phone is priced at approximately USD 199 and can be pre-ordered in the USA for T-Mobile network.
The G2 is the successor to T-Mobile G1, which is the first smartphone released with Google’s Android operating system in October 2008.
The G2 features a 3.7-inch screen, a full QWERTY keyboard, 4GB internal memory with a pre-installed 8GB micro SD card (it can support up to 32GB of external memory), Bluetooth connectivity, and is Adobe Flash Player-enabled for online browsing. G2 also has a 5MP camera with video capabilities.
