South Korean electronic gadget manufacturers LG electronics had launched their latest Android phone, named LG Optimus G Pro E985. The micro SIM phone offers 2G, 3G and 4G support.
The device homes a 5.5 ” True Full HD IPS Plus LCD capacitive touchscreen which can produce 16 M color display, which offer a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.
The device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by a Quad core Krait 300 processor which clocks at 1.7 GHz with Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset, supported by a 2 GB RAM. It has a 16/32 GB ROM, which is expandable up to 64 GB through microSD. Graphics engine used in the device is Adreno 320.
It is packed with a 13 MP camera in the rear, with auto focus option with LED flash. The rear cam features Geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilization, panorama and HDR. There’s a 2.1 MP front camera in the front which can shoot at 1080p at 30 fps, is available for video calling and self portraits.
The connectivity and navigation options include dual band WiFi WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS, S-GPS support and GLONASS, EDGE class 12, Java via Java MIDP emulator and GPRS class 12.
It features Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, TV-out (via MHL A/V link), Dolby mobile sound enhancement, Proximity and Gyro sensors, Accelerometer and Compass. In the hardware side, it has USB connectivity and 3.5 mm audio jack included.
The power needs of this micro SIM phone is catered by a 3140 mAh Li-Ion battery, which offers a standby time of up to 598 hours in 2G mode and up to 550 hours in 3G mode. Also it offers talk time of up to 31 hours in 2G mode and up to 21 hours in 3G mode.
The expected price range is between Rs. 36,000 – 39,000.
