Samsung India Rolls Out Android 2.2 Froyo Update for Galaxy S

Samsung India has started rolling out the Android 2.2 Froyo update for Galaxy S smartphones.

The Android 2.2 Froyo update needs to be downloaded via Kies, Samsung Mobile Desktop program. Samsung Kies is Key PC software with intuitive, easy and simple usability. Samsung Kies provides Samsung device users with easy data backup, transfer, powerful multimedia management, and convenient purchae features.

Android 2.2 Froyo brings a set of new features. You can watch Adobe Flash 10.1 based videos. New apps can be installed via external microSD card. Froyo allows converting a smartphone into a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. Froyo provides better performance with Flash and HTML5 based web apps.
