It is reported that Google is expected to announce a new music service today that will allow users to store their music online. The “Music Beta by Google” service is expected to announced on the Google I/O developer conference.
In order to avoid music piracy, Google will not allow download of music from the online lockers. People can listen on their devices to music streamed from the online storage.
“Music Beta by Google” is likely to be unveiled at the annual Google I/O developers conference in San Francisco. The Google service will let users listen to their music on Android phones or tablets and computers.
Amazon had launched such a service in March that allows users to store their digital files in Amazon Cloud Drive, and play it back using Amazon’s Cloud Player on the Mac, PCs, and phones and tablets running the Android operating system.
