MTNL launched a new service called ‘mobile website builder’, which will help its subscribers create customised website through a mobile device or a computer. MTNL launched it in partnership with IT firm Akmin Technologies.
The mobile website builder service would be available to MTNL subscribers for Rs 75 per month, while the annual subscription will be available for Rs 750.
MTNL Executive Director (Wireless Services) AK Bhargava said:
“In a digitally connected world, information is the power. With the launch of this service, we have enabled our customers in building a website in 10-15 minutes over mobile phones or a personal computer, without having any expertise in website building”.
[advt]Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) had more than five million customers in New Delhi and Mumbai at the end of June 30, 2011 as per data available with telecom regulator Trai.
Akmin Technologies Managing Director Prashanth said:
“An extensive suite of design templates, simple instruction prompts, no plug-ins and downloads, allow even novices to create a mobile and PC website. Once published, users can quickly and easily add forms, upload videos, photos to update content to keep their sites current”.
