Lycos Mail is a free web-based email service with 3 GB online mailbox size. It has no advanced features, but a solid 3 GB of storage space and the option to send files just as large make up for that to some degree. A spam filter and simple rules aside, Lycos Mail provides little to help you organize mail using labels or smart folders.
It avoid scams, Lycos will never ask for your password via email and will only ask for information such as date of birth or postal address to verify your account when you communicate with customer service. If you see such a scam, or if you are in doubt that an email comes from Lycos, report it immediately to Customer Service at http://help.lycos.com. If you have responded to such an email, please change your password immediately to keep your account safe.
