Idea Cellular has recently announced the launch of android smartphones, Id-280 and Blade, starting at Rs. 5,850 onwards, to drive penetration of data services in India. Currently, Idea 3G Smart phones are available in all Indian cities except in Orissa, JK & Punjab Circles.
Idea id-280 is an android phone released by idea cellular and runs on android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and comes with pre-installed facebook app. It has GPS and highly responsive capacitive touchscreen. It is priced at Rs.5850 in India and has 3G benefit of Rs.3500.
