HTTP Archive – Website Performance Information Permanent Repository

HTTP Archive provides a permanent record of web performance information.It tracks how the Web is built. It is a permanent repository of web performance information such as size of pages, failed requests,  technologies utilized, specific URL screenshots, waterfall charts and HTTP headers.

The following companies have agreed to sponsor the work of the HTTP Archive Google, Mozilla, New Relic, O’Reilly Media, Etsy, Strangeloop, and dynaTrace Software. It records how the digitized content is constructed and served.

HAR(HTTP archive) file capture web page loading information in a JSON format. HTTP waterfall chart is generated from the HAR file via JavaScript. The View Site page contains a table with information about each HTTP request in an individual page.
