HTC Announced Windows Phone Mango Devices, HTC Titan and Radar

Windows Phone LogoHTC unveiled its first handsets based on Microsoft’s latest mobile phone operating system Windows Phone 7.5 (codenamed Mango). HTC Titan and Radar have already been unveiled at a series of “consumer meet-ups” in London, Paris, Madrid and Berlin.

HTC Titan and HTC Radar are likely to be the first phones that will allow microsoft to claim the platform now offers real competition to rivals from Google and Apple.

HTC Titan has a massive 4.7″ screen and an ultra-slim 9.9mm unibody contoured design, and 8MP camera with F2.2. lens and BSI sensor.

HTC Radar has 3.8″ touch screen and 5MP camera with an F2.2 lens, LED Flash and BSI sensor.

The new version of Windows Phone is available as a free update to all current users of the platforms, as well as on the new devices. It adds improved functionality, including better integration with social networks and enhanced access to Microsoft Office, as well as better gaming options and the ability to handle multiple email inboxes. It also includes enhanced local search options, called Local Scout, faster web browsing and better multi-tasking.
