Google to Sell More Customised Enterprise Services in India

Google to offer paid customised services to corporate houses in India thrugh theĀ Google Enterprise services. At present, Google collaborates with about 2,000 clients and expects to double this number by the end of next year.

With Google Enterprise, employees can do video conferencing with outstation clients or use YouTube video to train their staff or share their presentation via Google docs, which can be customised for the company.

Google already collaborates with companies like Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). It also plans to target educational institutes, such as IIMs, ISB and Faculty of Management Studies (FMS).

According to Gartner about $8 out of every $10 spent on IT services of a company is non-productive. So, Google see immense opportunity for Google Enterprise.

Google use the cloud-based services of Microsoft to integrate all the applications on one platform. The company is already working on applications that will make the transition to cloud easier for the consumer. [source]
