Freely Distributed Portable Emulator – Download Atari800

Atari800 is an Atari 800, 800XL, 130XE and 5200 emulator for Unix, Amiga, MS-DOS, Atari TT/Falcon, SDL and WinCE. Our main objective is to create a freely distributable portable emulator.

It can be configured to run in the following ways :

  • CURSES mode[advt]
  • SVGALIB for Linux Systems
  • X Window + Optional XVIEW or MOTIF User Interface

  • MS-DOS
  • TOS (Atari Falcon030/TT030 and compatible)

  • 130XE compatible memory expansions: 320K, 576K, 1088K
  • Player/Missile Graphics, exact priority control and collision detection
  • 8 disk drives, emulated at computer-to-drive communication and fast patched SIO levels
  • Direct loading of Atari executable files and Atari BASIC programs
  • Cassette recorder, raw and CAS images
  • Printer support
  • Files can be stored directly on your host computer via the H: device
  • Current emulation state can be saved in a state file
  • Sound support on Unix using “/dev/dsp”
  • Stereo (two POKEYs) emulation
