Samsung Kies is a PC software used to communicate to the latest Samsung devices. It provides Samsung device users with easy data backup, data transfer between PC and Samsung devices, powerful multimedia management, purchase features and device firmware upgrade. You can search, browse and download apps for your Samsung devices.
Samsung Kies connects your PC to your phone, making it easier for you to synchronise data and find new apps. Using Samsung Kies, you can view apps in full screen on your PC , no matter what network you are on. You can personalise services by becoming a Samsung Apps member or registering your mobile phone.
You need to download install the application in your computer and connect to the Samsung device.

How to Use Samsung Kies?
- Download and install Samsung Kies. Select your language and country during installation.
- Run Samsung Kies and double-click the Samsung Apps widget.
- Connect your mobile and find the apps you want.
- See app details. Click the “Buy” button to purchase your new app. Enter your credit card details if you haven’t done so already.
- If your phone is connected to your PC, the app automatically installs itself. If your phone is not connected, the app is saved in ‘My Downloads’ and can be installed later.
- To download an app again, look in ‘Purchase History’ under ‘My Page’ or ‘My Downloads’.
Easy Connection and Easy Start
Simply connect your device to PC with USB cable, Kies will automatically detect the device. And then Easy Start will appear next to the device icon. You can back-up and synchronize your content at single click on Easy Start menu.
Device Browsing and Drag and Drop
Click the device icon at upper right corner. You can browse content stored on your device as Windows explorer. If you want to transfer content, just Drag&Drop it to My Computer or Widgets on Kies.
Manage your content with Widget
Kies consists of PC widgets for the specific functions that are selectable and expandable. These widgets can be executed simultaneously to manage contents stored in devices and PC.
- Back Up and Synchronize PIMS
Click Phonebook widget placed on Widget Dock(Your contacts will be displayed on the Mobile Phone tab).
You can back-up contacts by clickingicon, and synchronize with Outlook by clicking
icon
- Play and Edit Multimedia Content
Click Content Manager widget placed on Widget Dock.
You can play and manage Music, Photo, Video content at Contents Manager.
If you want edit photo, clickicon.
