Blackberry Q5 with Blackberry 10 OS Launched in India

Canadian mobile phone manufacturers RIM had launched Blackberry Q5, the latest phone in the series in India. The phone runs on Blackberry 10 OS, which is upgradable to Blackberry v10.1 . It is powered by a Dual core processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, having Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset installed.

The device homes a 3.1 ” IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors display, which offer a screen resolution of 720×720 pixels and a pixel density of 328 ppi.

The device contains a 2 GB RAM and a 8 GB ROM, which is expandable up to 32 GB through microSD.

It is packed with a 5 MP camera in the rear, with auto focus option and LED flash, which allows 1080p video recording at 30 fps. There’s a 2 MP front camera with 720p resolution.

The connectivity and navigation options include GPS with A-GPS support, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, GPRS, EDGE, NFC, microUSB v2.0, 4G and 3G support.

It has Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.It comes in three colors, viz, Red, White and Black.

The QWERTY phone’s power needs are catered by a non-removable Li-Ion 2180 mAh battery.
