Customers can now watch TV without having to buy an extra TV set or cable connection/set top box or an air antenna by simply subscribing to airtel broadband TV with monthly subscription packs starting at INR 49.
The 28 Live TV channels are across genres, languages and include the likes of UTV Bindass, UTV Movies, Bloomberg UTV , TLC, Animal Planet, all Discovery channels, Sakshi TV, Live India, NE TV, Otv News, Suvarna News and Tarang Music.
airtel broadband TV also works on Wi-Fi giving customers the freedom to watch TV anywhere in their homes. Besides, while watching airtel broadband TV one can multi-task like browsing the net and working on the laptop or computer at the same time.
What’s more-bandwidth consumption for watching airtel broadband TV will not add to the customers’ Broadband Plan data usage, except for users in Noida and Punjab.
To avail this service all that airtel broadband customers need to do is visit www.airtellive.com and subscribe to their Monthly Subscription Pack of choice by clicking on the Live TV option. Currently, customers have the option to watch 28 Live, 19 VOD (Video on demand) channels and 12 movies basis the chosen subscription plan. Can I change the channels of ‘My Pack’ anytime I want?
No, you cannot change the content of your ‘My Pack’. If you wish to change the channels then you will first have to unsubscribe from the current plan and then subscribe again with your desired channels. These are treated are 2 separate subscriptions, you would be billed as per the plans chosen.
Do I have to renew my subscription every month to continue the service?
No, you will not have to renew the subscription manually; it will get renewed automatically every month.
Do I have to pay any data charges other than the subscription charges for playing Broadband TV?
No, you don’t have to pay anything other than the subscription charges. The bandwidth consumption for watching Broadband TV will not add to your Broadband Plan data usage.
However, for customers in Noida and Punjab the data consumption for Broadband TV usage would continue to be billed as per the subscribed broadband plan.
How do I pay for Airtel Broadband TV service?
The charges for Broadband TV will reflect on your Airtel Broadband bill under Value Added Services section.
I have subscribed for Night pack but I am not able to view any channels?
Night pack has time duration of 9PM TO 9AM. Apart from this time you would not be able to watch any channel if you are subscribed to the Night Pack.
When I try to play any channel it takes long time to load the video?
Usually the channel takes less than 15 seconds to load when played for the first time and this too might vary based on the network conditions.
How do I unsubscribe from any package?
To unsubscribe from your package you need to follow the below mentioned steps:

I have forgotten my password for Broadband TV, what do I do now?
Kindly go to the login page and click the “Forgot Password” link there. You can retrieve your password by providing your registered email id.
My broadband plan is of low speed, will I still be able watch live TV?
Yes, you would be able to watch Broadband TV. Your Airtel Broadband connection would be Auto Upgraded for Broadband TV to 1 Mbps to give you a buffer free experience. This feature comes to you completely free of charge.
However, customers in Noida and Punjab would be able consume the service on the speed basis their broadband plan. There is no free upgrade applicable for them currently
15. Can I watch live TV on more than one computer using same account?
Yes, you can watch live TV on multiple PCs simultaneously; however the access speed would be divided basis the number of PCs/Laptops you are watching on and that may hamper the overall experience.
