Aadhaar (UID) Launched in Uttar Pradesh by Karvy Group

Aadhaar LogoKarvy Data Management Services Limited (KDMSL), a group company of Karvy Group has launched its UID operations in Uttar Pradesh by opening its first office at Lucknow for the enrollment of Aadhaar (UID) under National Securities Depository Ltd.(NSDL).

UID mission in India named as Aadhaar scheme that will issue a Unique Identification Number to every Indian resident linked with their demographic and biometric information.

[advt]Under the enrollment process, each Indian citizen will be required to fill a simple form giving supporting documents for proof of address, age and identity. During enrolment, Karvy personnel will take a photograph, capture finger prints and iris for all citizens who are above the age of 5 years. For the children below 5 years the enrollment would require only a picture to be taken at the enrollment station and the biometrics being taken on completion of 5 years and updation on completion of 15 years.

Under the Aadhaar Scheme all the citizens of India will be enrolled free of cost for their UID letter which they can use to identify themselves anywhere in India and also access a host of benefits and services.[source]
