The Wallet is a prepaid instrument that enables one to shop on Flipkart.com multiple times by making a payment only once. You make a payment for a certain amount and this will be added to your account as prepaid balance in your Wallet. When you make an order, you can choose to use the Wallet as the mode of payment and the amount will be deducted from the balance in your Wallet.
Using the Wallet to place orders on Flipkart.com allows you to avail of the following advantages:

- No more worries of failed payment transactions
All you need to do is Sign-Up or Log-In to your Flipkart.com account to begin using your Wallet. The upper limit on each Wallet refill is Rs. 10,000. The Wallet balance in your account cannot be transferred to other accounts. The entire Wallet balance will be refunded upon request, except for any amount added for promotional purposes.
Please reach flipkart at the Contact Us page if you want to initiate a refund of your Wallet balance. You will be able to use your Wallet balance at any point of time.
Since a Wallet is associated with an account, it cannot be deleted separately. However, the usage of Wallet it totally up to your discretion. You can choose to not use your Wallet at all and this will not interfere with any of the normal flows.
In case your Wallet balance is lower than the total amount payable, you can make a partial payment using your Wallet and then pay the remaining amount using any of the other prepaid payment options. Please note that Cash-on-Delivery cannot be combined with a Wallet payment.
In order to fill or recharge your Wallet,
- Log in to your Flipkart.com account[advt]
- Goto the Wallet page in the Accounts section
- Enter the amount you want to recharge with
- Go through the check-out process as usual

- Log in to your Flipkart.com account
- Go to the Wallet page in the Accounts section

- Add items to your cart
- Go through the usual check-out process
- In the payment step of check-out, choose Wallet as the mode of payment
