On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Independence day, BSNL has introduced Special Tariff Vouchers under 2G & 3G prepaid GSM and prepaid CDMA services. This special offer provides Unlimited Free Local Callings (BSNL to BSNL) for its GSM and CDMA Mobile service subscribers.
Vodafone Essar and Idea Cellular, hiked the telephone tariffs by 20%. According to industry sources, the tariffs were increased few days ago, eventhough both the companies declined to comment on the news. Bharti Airtel had hiked tariffs for two of its prepaid schemes recently.
