  1. If you can not afford new nokia n8 mobile then you can go for used nokia n8 mobile for that visit free classified site Tarun vishwakarma

  2. Reception: Very good. Has two mics, one for talking and one in the back for noise cancellation, so call quality is very good on both ends. The speaker next to your ear is loud and clear.

  3. This is probably the most hyped phone with 0% effieciency….I will kill the makers of this phone if at all i find them…I seriously dont understand why the hell is nokia still sticking with symbion OS…I bought it assuming symbion v3 would be somewhat better and also was bit carried away with the hype that was surrounded…It is perhaps the slowest smart phone ever….It takes more than 10 seconds to open the contact list and another 10 seconds to make a call…imagine you r opening some Java applications…
I can make a challenge that I will demonstrate more than 100 bugs in this phone….
Nokia seriously doesn’t know the value of money..
I urge people not to buy this phone at any cost….plsssssssssss stay off it…
there are many other smart phones which are really “SMART”, in the market…galaxy,milestone,wildfire,hd2 to name a few…..
say NO to NOkia smart phones

    • So untrue…so iPhonish…i bet u dont own N8…10 sec to open contact and make call…rubbish…nokia would never launch a phone that slow…you should not talk about N8 cause u dont own one…better talk about Android (so you peed in your pants to keep warmth) or iPhone (toy)…c’mon i take your challange…and give you a one as well…the challange is “Prove that you dont own a Android or iPhone”

      • To be frank with u..I seriously dont own an Android or Iphone….I bought this phone on the first day of its release in India thru prebooking…..I gave those examples because ma friends own them and I have seen em all…. But seriously this phone is not upto the mark at all…
        1. It shows number instead of name in the inbox tho the numbers have been saved
        2. switch off and then switch on, U can see that clock screensaver will seldom appear (on most cases if not everytime)
        3. just try opening NFS ll take more than a min to open….
        4. Not all the mentioned formats can be played on this phone…
        5. try comparing it with an android phone….u find it too too tooooooooo slow
        6. Icons are like windows 98 icons (assholic!!)
        7. download some hifi themes and apply…then u ll find ur phone become slower than b4…I bet!!
        8. worst part of this phone is browsing…God help N8ians!!!
Dude/tte am not against N8 or nokia….but I have just wrote bout my experience….thats all…
Nokia shud look beyond symbion if they were to make a good smart phone

        • hi it is true, I just bought this phone after the hype.
It does comes with the flaws listed out here.
Webpage is [email protected]#$ seriously if u go online using this phone one will get high frustration i stoped going online it is bad very bad.
interactive buttons are big and boring.
But physical features are awesome .
I use N8 in the place of a casual camera or an mp3 or mp4 player and for a solid hold in the hand, great GPS facility my reasons to buy this.

Now the major problem is webpage and the clumsy s#%!%^ firmware i believe.
I should have thought twice anyhow pros are more and I am satisfied with that if the software for this phone with such capacity is changed i bet it will top the chart for a long time.

  4. Nokia N8 is a full touchscreen QWERTY keypad which is built with a great list of feature. It is a Nokia Operating System. The screen size is very nice. It camera quality is pretty. It is light is weight.

  5. hey!!!
can a single person tell me that it is possible to do chat with the Nokia N8???pplz tell me its very important coz i m goin tu but this beauty nxt mnth n i want 2 know this feature has involved or not wid other features.
my mail id is [email protected]

  6. The Nokia N8 certainly looks like one of the sturdiest smartphones. This mobile phone offers you a superb platform to watching your favorites TV shows. N8 has provided the best camera quality compare to all mobile phone by the Nokia. It audio quality is superb

  7. hii guys N8 is absolutely a price worthy all rounder phone…its really a nokia power house…its accelerometer rocks …..price in india is INR 22690+vat(4%)…..I have one serious questions for u……Many adds are there in net that unlocked brand new n8 is avilable for 300 us dollars ie abt 13000 indian rupees …and they promise to deliver the set within 48 hrs after the payment through fedex courier at our far we can believe this..will they cheat us…wats ur opinion and does anyone bought unlocked handsets through this method….eg:

    • Gaming in n8 will be worst quality ..It supports motion gaming with the help an accelerometer..But it lacks 3 axis gyro which is a must need for a perfect motion gaming. Also n8 display clarity is very low (iphone s the best phone for motion gaming). If gaming is the most important for you in a smartphone dont buy n8.N8 is just an all sounder.

    • It is available in 4 color, T.V out. USB connectivity with Pen drive no Pc required, shares data directly like phone book, sms, gallery with another mobile without PC.Camera is amazing , sound also excellent. Price is Rs. 24000

  8. It would be better if the uncertainty in the price is removed. Some time it is just Rs. 23000/- How fair is it to announce for the same set as Rs. 35000/- Why this difference???

  9. I have seen the set in Mysore and is appears to be a good one. Only that it will take some time before I get used to the set as it contains a world of information… I believe that this set will come to my maximum utility in any sense…

    I AM WAIT FOR IT…………………….

  11. Its available for Rs. 25,000( confirmed )…actually It’s available in India for preorder for Rs.2500 and the phone will be available on Oct 10…if you dont book your phone till Oct 1st then you have to wait till December for the stock…confirmed

  12. dont buy from rajesh he is big cheat I had paid total money on 19th august but untill today please dont buy he is a big cheat and not answering the phone and not even replying the email
dont buy from rajesh [email protected] he is big cheat I had paid total money on 19th august but untill today please dont buy he is a big cheat and not answering the phone and not even replying the email he says he had sent long back but noo consignment number i think all imphal sellers are big theives and frods dont buy any thing from this guy a very dangerous criminal.i had lost the money dont loose any one

    • dnt take n8 plz take E7 announced by nokia today….symbian 3 4inch screen amoled 8mp camera 16gb memory…stylish business phone for 25000 INR only

  13. dont buy from rajesh he is big cheat I had paid total money on 19th august but untill today please dont buy he is a big cheat and not answering the phone and not even replying the email

  14. hii guys,n8 is absolutely a gr8 smartphone but while comparing to n97 it has many disadvantages i came across for the price of 35k inr…compare these

    N97:price 23k,32 gb internal memory,battery is massive 1500mah,qwerty key board is there…

N8:price 35k,16gb internal memory, battery is less powerful ie only 1200mah,even n70 have 1050 mah bl5c battery,no qwerty keyboard…..the only thing n8 can boast of it is 12MP camera…also we cannot use its full fuctions for long time with this small battery…

in my opinion N8’s price must be below 25k….otherwise it will come in category of luxury phone……..also we know that nokia announced in europe that n8s price will be 22k inr….

    • Agree and support your detailed analysis, better to have strong memory and backup power battery N97 instead of N8. I appreciate your intellectual and practical uses of mobiles in daily use.
Regards and thanks for giving scientific reasons to clarify the

        • Dear Sir,
Nokia company should specify detailed analytical survey of new product before launching in the market and laid down all specifications/features of new with comparison to old models in a transparent manner tabular form to have overall look and get feed back from the customers with complete specifications. The new technology introduced to capture in the market, consumer opinion should be be kept on top priority of their usages. What %age of consumer will get benefited with small changes which are beyond the circle of daily usages and raising the price according to the features which are really like and appreciated by the mass of new consumers/buyers. Thanks one again and taken serious view on my request. Price is secondary issue, the main object is the advancement with all moderate facilities upgrading to previous features.
          With warmth kind regards,
          Arvind Kumar Srivastava

    • @Ansar Muhammed,

You are comparing apples with oranges; reduction in battery size also mean a substantial reduction in weight. Also it is not the size of the battery and it’s capacity that counts. The talk time. So far Nokia has been true with their talk time. I am guessing this time too you can expect. The redesigned OS, completely new AMOLED display all played a major part in talk time reduction. Further more the comparison should be with N8 and N97-Mini

@ many users : TV output is available through HDMI ports. This means that this TV will plug only into latest generation TV’s that support such an input !

@ aravind : Nokia website has a comparison feature where you can compare upcoming model with current available. What is useful & useless is something you decide.. Eg: One person might want a 3D TV. Others might think they don’t need it. A big chunk of others might think that they will buy a 3D TV when more 3D titles are released in Blu-Ray.. Some might want to buy after price comes down. Few others might want it after there is a a good review from the time of launch and the price has substantially comes down. All these customers are known by specific names. 1st one is called early adopters. 2nd one is called practical early adopter. 3rd one need-price buyers. 4th careful customers. The markets comprises of everyone.

@Josh123 – How come nokia has a good price for this phone – This is a matter of personal opinion. But rest assured for the quality, it si very cheap.

First one is strategy – Once a nokia, always a nokia for most people. They also will want to crush other phones in the market. In a country like India, the demographic analysis says, people go for value for money. a cheaper product will mean good customer churn. A good product will add value and increase the customer base.

Second – Feasibility – How they are able to decrease the price – Well this is a hard question to answer. In the India packages, I have seen that N6 packages is small, rectangular enabled by folding chargers etc. While it cost a few cents more to make a folding charger, It also will enable company to improve supply time, reduce human effort in repacking and more packages in one shipping. If we are able to double the shipping volume per container, you are saving 100% logistic cost on 50% of the items shipped. In other words, this means every second shipment is almost free. This cost can be adjusted to the product and save customers a lot of money.

Third – Product reliability – When a product is good, apart from huge sales markup, a company can also benefit through excellent line from product return and replacement costs. Nokia benefits from this.

      Thanks !!

      Dipu George
