Bharat Berry is a service by Indian firm that provides an alternative to BlackBerry services in India. How to Enable Bharat Berry
Blackberry Handset Users
- Step 1: You will need to know your phone software model — start composing a new SMS (can be to any number, Bharat Berry will not send the SMS). In the message, type “myver”, then press space. You will see something like “9700/5.0.0.351”. Note the number on the right (5.0.0.351), this is your software version, you will need it. Open the Browser on your phone and enter http://Bharat Berry.com/b
- Step 2: Step 2: Open the Browser on your phone and enter http://Bharat Berry.com/b. Based on the software version (from Step1), select appropriate PIM Sync Client, Install and Run.
- Step 3: You will now create a Bharat Berry username. Go to Account, enter a username & password of your choice, save settings.
- Step 4: If you see PIM sync options, you have successfully installed Bharat Berry Client. Press the options key on your phone and choose “Sync All”. After that you may change the setting for automatic updates.
- Step 5: Now, Bharat Berry will setup your mail accounts on Bharat Berry. You could also do this on your PC. Visit www.Bharat Berry.com and login with your Bharat Berry username and password.
- Step 6: Bharat Berry is free for 3 months! No need to pay.
- Step7: Click on “Setup” to setup your email a/c.
- [advt]Step8: Now, back to your phone. Open Browser to www.Bharat Berry.com/b, and download Push Mail client based on the software version (from Step1). Login with your Bharat Berry username and password.
- You are now ready to use Bharat Berry for your emails!
Nokia Handset Users
- Step 1: You will need to know your phone model. Open the Browser on your phone and enter http://Bharat Berry.com/s
- Step 2: Based on the Nokia Handset Model Number select appropriate PIM Sync Client, Install and Run.
- Step 3: You will now create a Bharat Berry username. Go to Account, enter a username & password of your choice, save settings.
- Step 4: If you see PIM sync options, you have successfully installed Bharat Berry Client. Press the options key on your phone and choose “Sync All”. After that you may change the setting for automatic updates.
